Here are details of all that’s happening across East Cardiff to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen:
Jubilee Party – Tuesday 31st
St Dyfrig’s Llanrumney will be holding a Jubilee party on Tuesday afternoon at 2pm.
Jubilee Bellringing – Friday 3rd
The bells at St Augustine’s, St Mellon’s and St Edeyrn’s will ring out at 1100 on Friday to celebrate HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. They will join bells across the UK being rung at the time to mark this important national event. There will also be further ringing at St Augustine’s and St Mellon’s in the afternoon when the ringers will attempt a special piece of ringing – called a quarter peal to celebrate the occasion.
Party in the Park – Friday 3rd
St Mellons would like to invite you to the Queen’s Jubilee Party in the Park on Friday 3rd June at the Ty’r Winch Playing Field at 1pm. Join in with a royal fancy dress competition, music, a bar, bouncy castle, magician, stalls and a tea tent.
Jubilee Lunch – Sunday 5th

St Augustine’s Rumney will be holding a buffet lunch on Sunday 5th June at 12.00pm. All welcome.
Falklands Memorial & Jubilee Picnic – Sunday 12th
St Edeyrn’s will be holding a picnic in the churchyard on Sunday 12th June following the service which will be taking place at the later time of 10.30am
